Stop highlighting your NCERT. Highlighting feels productive but it's passive. Make active recall flashcards instead — here's how I did it for Biology:

  1. One card per concept, not per page.
  2. Question on front, only the trigger word on back.
  3. Review with a 1-3-7 day spacing — no apps needed.

Dropping a year felt like the end of the world when I did it. Six months in, my mock scores were still bad. What changed wasn't a new resource — it was finally admitting I didn't understand half the things I'd "completed". If you're in that spot right now, you're not behind. You're being honest. That's the start.

"Should I do coaching modules or PYQs first?" Honest answer: PYQs. Always. Modules teach you the universe of what could be asked. PYQs teach you the much smaller universe of what actually gets asked. Start with the smaller universe.
